DTA 2024 Design Contest

The winner will have their design featured on our 2024 Seasonal Apparel and be recognized in our year end newsletter and on social media. 

Design Guidelines:

  • Must include the words “Defend Them All” or the DTA shield logo

  • Design should be for the front of the shirt only 

  • Design must be original work

  • Multicolor designs will be accepted, but limited color designs are preferred. Gradients do not print well. 

  • High resolution submission as. AI, .EPS, .PDF, .PNG or .JPG with a maximum file size of 10MB

  • Shirts will be printed through our partnership with Bonfire 

Eligibility: 

There is no fee to enter a design and more than one design can be submitted per person. 

How to Enter:

In addition to your artwork, please include your first and last name, phone number, and a description of your inspiration. Please email your submission to admin@defendthemall.org Subject line: 2024 Design Contest.

How Winner Will Be Chosen:

Public voting via socials will be used to help determine a winner. Designs will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Originality

  • Spirit of the DTA mission

  • Feasibility and ease of reproduction / readiness for print 

Important Dates:

  • Submission deadline: November 22, 2024

  • Public Voting: November 22st - November 29th 

  • Announcement of Contest Winner: November 30th 

  • Product design goes live: December 1st

Fine Print: By submitting a design, the entrant consents that it is their own original work and that they have all necessary rights and permissions to use any included elements. The DTA team reserves the right to make adjustments and alterations to the winning entry. The winning entrant grants to Defend Them All the exclusive right to the design, including any modifications thereof, to be used on promotional/marketing and other Defend Them All materials. The entrant shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless Defend Them All from and against any and all suits, actions, claims, damages, liabilities, judgments, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of any violation of third party rights (including, without limitation, intellectual property infringement, misappropriation, dilution or violation) in connection with Defend Them All’s use, distribution, publishing, sale or exploitation of the design.
